Find the Fun in Fiction
“5 out of 5 stars! What a wonderful story, it is so rare - especially in gay fiction to have a story fold around you like a comfortable blanket. The characters are so rich and their environments and emotions are presented in such vivid detail that the reader feels like they are in the story themselves. Simply wonderful. This is the first book I've read by TJ Johnson and as soon as I finish with this review I'm going to buy everything else this author has written. I hope you enjoy it as well.” By Todd Seibel (Austin, TX)
“The thing that I love about your writing is how wonderfully you develop your characters. You make me really care about what happens to them. Then, on top of it all, you are able to develop a plot line that makes the book impossible to put down. I have lost a lot of sleep because I read into the wee hours of the morning, (that's why I hate you!!!). But, I love you because of the amazing stories that you write. I have just started 'The War Apart-Part 1' and am already hooked.” Bruce Foulkes Santa Ana, CA

The Blackfeet Boys
Warriors By Day - Lovers By Night
Part I

Thanks to our new editing team, Hard Title Publishing has released "The Blackfeet Boys," an action filled story about two Indian young men realize they are in love, but a love like theirs is against tribal laws. Such attractions are not tolerated and often the offending boys are abandoned or killed. Windtalker and Kiyo developed excellent hunting skills and while their fathers are away in battle, it is their job to keep their families and the village supplied with fresh game.
During the winter season they learned how to fight an enemy and how to win, and they are very good at both, but as spring approaches their desire to be together forces a plan long in the making. They seek to go west from the plains of Montana and cross the treacherous, difficult ridges and rivers in the Glacier Mountains. If they find a way to a valley far from their homeland, perhaps they can live in secret together, but the journey is wrought with adventure and near death experiences, including trying to outrun a huge grizzly bear.
They make many discoveries, but none more significant than befriending a settler family on the western side of the mountains. This leads to their assistance to an army major that thrusts them into a fight with many warriors and bad men, as they seek to carve out their life together in a valley so remote, they hope no one will ever find it.
Their skills as hunters and warriors are put to the test, but nothing can separate or challenge the love of “The Blackfeet Boys.”
“So, when I realized that you were my new favorite author, I had to start reading the rest of your books. So far I've read 'A Writer's Fantasy', (boy! Would I like to write my own fantasy!), 'The Gay Grifters', and 'The Raceboys', (everyone a true gem!). "
“I read A LOT! My favorite thing to do is to go on Amazon and look for authors I've never read. I get some good ones and a lot of bad ones. A lot of gay writers think if you put in a lot of sex, it's a good book. WRONG!! I came upon 'Stranded', it sounded interesting, so I bought it. I LOVED it!! The main thing that I liked about 'Stranded' was their complete innocence about love and sex. Their love was totally organic. It was a wonderful read until they were rescued and thrust into the real world. And then when one of them realizes he is straight, I thought the love story was over. But, you pulled it off and I was left very satisfied."
